Forms are shaped in solid wood, dried in stages, measured at their thickest point, sanded by hand, inspected, and finished with thin coats of translucent oil. Grain, tonal shifts, checking, inclusions, and small tool traces remain part of the object, so no two finished surfaces are identical.
